Cold Brew Coffee for Hot Days

Cold brew coffee is easy to make at home although it takes much longer to prepare it than hot coffee. You don't need any special equipment beyond, just a large jug for making the coffee and a strainer. Cold brew coffee differs from iced coffee on its brewing method and its taste. It is made by steeping more-coarsely ground coffee in the cool water for at least 12h. During that time the coffee slowly infuses into the water, creating a strong, concentrated but incredible smooth and almost sweet-tasting brew. The brew coffee tastes also much less bitter and less sour. The cold brew coffee is perfect for iced coffee. To drink the finished brew, use a ratio of 1:1.
