Tomato Raita

Tomato Raita is simple and easy raita made with tomatoes and yogurt. This is the perfect side dish to accompany curries and rice dishes.

Serves 2

  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 large tomato, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp onion finely chopped
  • pinch of cumin powder
  • black pepper, salt to taste
  • 1-2 springs of coriander leaves to decorate

How to make Tomato Raita:

  1. Whisk the yoghurt well till absolutely smooth.
  2. Season with salt and pepper to taste and cumin powder.
  3. Combine with the tomato and onion and pour into a serving bowl.
  4. Garnish with coriander leaves.
