Saffron (Kesar) Drink

This indian traditional drink is made from thickened milk infused with saffron and cardamom. It is a healthy and delicious. Real treat for the winter.

Serves 2

  • 2 pinches saffron
  • 1-2 tsp sugar or to taste
  • 2 cups milk
  • crushed ice

How to make Saffron (Kesar) Drink:

  1. Heat ½ cup milk in a pan till boils. Add saffron strings and keep on slow heat for few minutes.
  2. Mix left milk in the blender with sugar, saffron mixture and ice.
  3. Chill in the refrigerator. Serve cold.
