Hot Mint Tea

This anti-inflmmatory, immune-boosting Mint Tea is just simply made with fresh mint leaves and some hot water. Can be sweeten with some honey.

Ingredients:

Serves 2

  • 2 cups water
  • 4-5 springs of mint
  • sugar, honey (optional)
  • 2 tbsp of lemon juice to serve (optional)

How to Make Mint Tea:

  1. Bring 2 cups of water to the boil in a saucepan and add the mint leaves. Let it steep for 1 minute. 1.Remove from the heat and leave to stand for 3 minutes. Pour the tea through a sieve to a serving cups.
  2. Squeeze the lemon. Add the lemon juice to taste.
  3. Decorate with spring of mint and slice of lemon. Sweeten with honey or sugar if/ as desired.
