Green Juice

This drink is rich in chlorophyll, and excellent body cleanser and contains nutrients such as foliate, carotene and potassium.

Ingredients:

Makes 1 cup

  • 10 spinach leaves
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, deseeded and sliced
  • 1 stalk celery with leaves, sliced
  • 2 large lettuce leaves
  • pinch salt
  • small piece of ginger root

How to make Green Juice:

  1. In a juice extractor, process the spinach leaves, then the bell pepper, celery, ginger and lettuce.
  2. Add salt to taste, pinch of turmeric. Mix well.
  3. You may serve it with cubes of ice.
