Raw Mango with Buttermilk

Raw mango, buttermilk, ice and some spices blended together to a healthy combination to die for.


Serves 1-2

  • 1/4 cup unsalted, shelled pistachios (soaked)
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 green chili (optional)
  • pinch of salt (to taste)
  • pinch of cumin
  • pinch of chaat masala
  • ½ tsp fresh ginger root, peeled and chopped finely
  • 1 large raw mango, peeled and pitted
  • ½ cup crushed ice
  • mint leaves to decorate

How to make Raw Mango and Buttermilk:

  1. Process all the ingredients in a blender until smooth and frothy.
  2. Pour into serving glass. Sprinkle with cumin powder or chaat masala and decorate with mint leaves. Serve chilled.
