Paneer Cheese grilled in the cast iron skillet or iron pan to get a crisp succulent snack, best served with green coriander chutney or any chutney of your choice.
Ingredients:

8 oz/250 g paneer
2 capsicum (red, green or yellow) - cut into thin slices
1 onion, cut into thin slices
2-4 small white mushrooms (optional)
1 tbsp garlic paste
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tbsp sour cream
1 tbsp yoghurt
pinch of turmeric
1 tbsp lemon juice
4 tbsp oil
½ tsp salt, or to taste
½ tsp chili powder
salt to taste
½ tsp cumin powder
1 tomato - cut into slices to garnish
red onion to garnish (optional)
How to make Grilled Paneer:
Marinade:
Put yoghurt, sour cream and garlic and ginger paste into a bowl.
Add cumin powder, chili powder, salt, and turmeric. Mix it well.
Marinate paneer, capsicum and onion pieces in it for 1 hour.
Heat the oil in a iron skilllet. Add paneer pieces and cook for 2 minutes.
Add sliced bell peppers and sliced onion.
Stir-fry on medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes or until paneer star getting crisp on the side and vegetables soft.
When done, transfer into a serving plate. Garnish with tomato and rings of red onion. Serve hot sprinkled with some lemon juice or chat masala on a bed of either plain boiled rice or Pulao Rice accompanied with cooling Mint Raita or Coriander Chutney.
