Mithai - Indian Sweets You Can Make at Home

Most Indian sweets is invariably milk-based. Due to excssive heat in many parts of India and lack of refrigeration, fresh milk cannot be easily stored. This is why the sweets are usually made of condensed milk, which can be kept for longer periods of time without refregirating. Powdered milk is a good alternative. Indian Mithai are very rich and sweet, but a small portion is a great way to finish a meal.
