Semiya Payasam (Vermicelli Kheer)

The South Indian version of kheer is known as payasam. Deliciously creamy, made of vermiccelli and milk pudding with cashews and raisins. The difference between the kheer and payasam are that payasam is typically made with jaggery and the consistency is usually thinner.
