Ginger Lemon Tea

Ginger Lemon Tea is a slightly peppery and sweet, with a pungent and spicy aroma refreshing drink that can be consumed either hot or cold. It is usually made with fresh ginger and lemon juice. It can be sweetened with honey, sugar or even artificial sweetener.

Ingredients:

Serves 2

  • 3 cups water
  • 2 inch of fresh ginger
  • 2-3 tbsp honey
  • juice from 1 lemon
  • few mint leaves

How to make Ginger Lemon Tea:

  1. Peel a ginger and chop coarsely.
  2. Pour the water into a pan, add chopped ginger, and bring to a boil.
  3. Cover, turn heat to low, and simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Uncover, add few fresh mint leaves bring to the boil and turn of the gas.
  5. When the water cools a bit add lemon juice and honey.
  6. Then strain into cups and serve.
