Tea with Cinnamon & Honey

This Honey and cinnamon tea is delicious and naturally sweet. It is a rich source of antioxidants and have anti-bacterial properties. It can boost your immune system and protect you from many dieseases. It will help you to stay energized and even loose weight.

Serves 2

  • 2-3 cups water
  • 2 large cinnamon sticks
  • 1 star anise (optional)
  • 1 tsp leaf black tea or 1 tea bags
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

How to Make Cinnamon Tea with Honey:

  1. Bring water to a boil in a pot on the stove.
  2. Add the cinnamon stick, star anise to the boiling water and steep for 5 minutes. (Some water will evaporate so alwyas use more water than you would pour in 1 cup).
  3. Add the tea leaves or tea bags and steep on low -medium heat for about 3 minutes. The longer the steeping time, the stronger the flavor will be.
  4. Strain and sweeten with honey as desired. Enjoy!
